Doctrine and Beliefs

Students and parents are expected to regularly attend and belong to a Bible believing church.

The basic and fundamental doctrine of this school shall be the Bible standard of full salvation, which is: repentance, baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the initial sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

Furthermore, Porter Christian Academy subscribes without reservation to the Articles of Faith of Porter Apostolic Pentecostal Church. The school abides by these doctrines in all aspects, both at and away from school ministries and functions.

Students of this school are expected to refrain from talking about or engaging in cheating, swearing, using tobacco, gambling, worldly music, dancing, drinking alcoholic beverages, and using or talking about narcotics. Students who participate in such activities are subject to suspension and/or expulsion. Students are expected to act in an orderly and respectful manner, maintaining Christian standards in courtesy, kindness, language, morality, and honesty. Students must strive toward unquestionable character in dress, conduct, and attitude.
